ZoneIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our timezone detection service for GoHighLevel.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and optionally your agency name.
GHL Contact Data (Limited): When connected to your GoHighLevel account via OAuth, ZoneIQ accesses only:
- Contact phone numbers (to determine area code)
- Contact state/address field (for cross-verification)
- Contact timezone field (to write the corrected timezone)
We do not access, read, store, or transmit any other contact data, messages, workflows, billing information, or account settings.
3. How We Use Information
- To detect and set correct timezones on your GHL contacts
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates
- To improve our timezone detection accuracy
4. Data Storage and Security
We do not permanently store your GHL contact data. Phone numbers and state fields are processed in real-time to determine the timezone and are not retained after processing. Your OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or your contacts' data with third parties, except as necessary to operate the Service. We use the following service providers (sub-processors) to deliver ZoneIQ:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission processing (stores beta signup email and agency name)
- Stripe — payment processing (handles billing and payment card data; we do not store card numbers)
- GoHighLevel — CRM platform integration (we access only the data described in Section 2)
We may also share data:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights or safety
6. GoHighLevel Integration
ZoneIQ connects to your GHL account through GoHighLevel's official OAuth authorization. You can revoke access at any time from your GHL account settings. Upon revocation, we immediately delete your OAuth tokens and cease all access to your account.
7. Cookies
Our marketing website may use minimal, essential cookies for functionality (such as remembering your login session). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify individual users.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Revoke GHL access at any time
- Opt out of marketing communications
9. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to deliver the timezone detection service you have subscribed to.

Data Retention: We retain your account information (email, agency name) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. GHL contact data (phone numbers, state fields) is processed in real-time and is not retained after timezone detection is complete. OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon account deletion or access revocation. We may retain limited records as required by law or to resolve disputes.
International Data Transfers: ZoneIQ is operated by Ortez Corporation in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. By using our service, you acknowledge this transfer.

10. CCPA Compliance (California Users)
If you are a California resident, the following additional rights and disclosures apply to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business purpose for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (such as legal compliance or completing a transaction you requested).

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will not receive a different level or quality of service for making a privacy request.

11. Children's Privacy
ZoneIQ is a business-to-business service and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old to use ZoneIQ.
